I wanted to drop into your email to show you a couple pieces from the last couple months and update you on where I am at with my work!
Firstly, these paintings were finished back in February, before I got my puppy.
Since I've finished these pieces I've been feeling less connected to The Keeper series. I have a bit more I want to do with it, but I think it is time for a little bit of a break.
A bit of art block has hit, and while I have a lot in the "ideas" category, not a ton is coming out of it yet. I've been spending time in my studio playing with supplies, exploring ideas in my sketchbook, and experimenting with a few new colour palettes. Sometimes when I feel a block coming, the best thing I can do is surround myself with the materials and inspiration and just play.
There are a few exciting things coming up which I am excited to tell you about in future emails, and with summer market season just around the corner I will be preparing some new products and prints for my booth!
