I've gone and disappeared again!
So sorry, I have been busy with training my new studio assistant and I admit it still isn't an ideal situation for productivity but fingers crossed he gets the hang of it soon!
I thought I would take a moment this week to introduce you to him and let you know a little bit about what's coming up in the next few months.
This is Tobey! He is a 16-week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he is not the best studio assistant, but I admit there was a bit of nepotism during the hiring process.
In the past few weeks since we got him, I haven't had a ton of time in my studio and the space became a bit of a dumping ground of all the things I didn't want Tobey to touch (he wasn't ready for any responsibility at all...).
But I've cleaned it up and we are practicing having quiet time while I work, so I am hoping this will be the start of more productivity and a bit less puppy-napping-on-my-face time...
I've got a few things coming up, but without confirmed dates I am going to wait to share, but please keep an eye out in your email inbox and on Instagram for announcements for my next Watercolour Foundations course and a Botanical Illustration course!
I also have a handful of new paintings that I managed to finish off after Tobey went to bed, so I will share those in the coming weeks too!
