In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll work from real leaves that have been collected and dried, using their natural shapes, colours, and details as inspiration for our paintings.
Along the way, we’ll explore some fun colour mixing, learn techniques for capturing the delicate forms and textures of leaves, and discover how a few simple watercolour skills can bring a botanical subject to life. By the end of the evening, you’ll have created your own leaf painting to take home.
You don’t need any previous watercolour experience to join us. Whether you’re completely new to painting or simply looking for a creative evening out, all supplies are provided, and I’ll guide you through the process step by step.
It’s a lovely way to slow down, enjoy the last colours of autumn, and spend a little time making something with your hands.
